🇬🇧 We speak English
Physiotherapy and osteopathy fully in English, at our clinics in Eixample and Gràcia. Clear diagnosis, hands-on treatment and a plan you understand.
If you have just moved to Barcelona, or you are here for a few months, the last thing you need when you are in pain is a language barrier. Explaining where it hurts, when it started and what makes it worse is half of a good diagnosis, and that conversation works best in a language you are comfortable in.
Whether you would call us a physio, a physiotherapist or a physical therapist, the care is the same: at our physiotherapy clinics in Barcelona we treat international patients every week: expats, students, remote workers and travellers. Your session is one-to-one with a licensed physiotherapist (colegiado, registered with the Col·legi de Fisioterapeutes de Catalunya), lasts 55 minutes, and everything is explained in plain English: what we find, what we are doing and why.
Not sure what you have? Book an assessment and we will tell you what is going on, and if your problem needs a doctor rather than a physio, we will say so and point you in the right direction.
The techniques are part of the treatment plan: we use whatever helps you recover faster, at no extra charge per technique.
Hands-on treatment of joints, muscle and fascia.
A global approach to find the cause, not just the symptom.
A simple home plan so the problem does not come back.
For trigger points and stubborn muscle knots.
Tecar therapy to speed up tissue recovery.
For nerve-related pain.
Return-to-sport plans and load management.
Jaw pain, clicking and bruxism.
For the compensations that make the same injury come back.
We can also come to you: we offer home physiotherapy visits in Barcelona.
Coming from the UK, Ireland, the US or northern Europe, many patients assume they need to see a GP first. In Spain you don't: private physiotherapy is direct access. You book, you come in, and treatment starts on day one. If we spot anything that does need a doctor, we tell you straight away.
You can meet the team on our physiotherapists in Barcelona page. And if you are based in the capital instead, we also have an English-speaking physiotherapist in Madrid, in the Barrio de Salamanca.
Most patients want the same thing: to get better quickly, safely and without complications. Our clinics are designed for exactly that.

Yes, all of them. Every physiotherapist in our team treats in English, at both the Eixample and the Gràcia clinic, so you can book with whoever has the first available slot: there is no need to ask for an English-speaking physiotherapist. If you would rather write than call, WhatsApp us in English and we will sort out the appointment with you.
No. In Spain, private physiotherapy is direct access: you can book directly with us, with no GP referral or prescription. The only exception is if you want your health insurance to cover the sessions: some policies ask for a medical prescription first, so check your policy conditions.
Our Eixample clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 21:00 and Saturday mornings, and our Gràcia clinic Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 21:00, so there is usually a slot within a day or two. Book online to see real-time availability, or write to us on WhatsApp.
You can see the current prices for each clinic when you book online. The session is one-to-one with your physiotherapist and lasts 55 minutes, and techniques like dry needling are included in the price, not charged as supplements.
Yes, with international health insurers as well as the main Spanish ones, on a reimbursement basis. We are a private clinic, not an insurer network centre, which is what keeps every session one-to-one and 55 minutes long: you pay for the session, we give you an invoice with everything your insurer asks for (your physiotherapist’s registration number, the clinic details and the treatment) and you claim it back through your policy. If you are not sure what yours covers, send us a photo of your insurance card on WhatsApp and we will check it for you.
It depends on your problem and how long you have had it. After the first assessment we give you a realistic estimate: recent muscle or joint problems often improve within a handful of sessions, while longer-standing issues need a more progressive plan.
We have two clinics in central Barcelona: one in Eixample (Carrer d'Ausiàs Marc, 26, a short walk from Urquinaona and Arc de Triomf metro stations) and one in Gràcia (Via Augusta, 48, next to the Gràcia FGC station).
Tell us what is going on and we will tell you, with no commitment, how we would treat it and who would treat you. No spam.
